2012: Sounds like a great year to embark on a classical journey!

The ancient Mayans had no room on their calendar after 2012, leading many to speculate this year would mark the end of time.*  However, during the same period that the Mayans were developing their calendar, other ancients were laying the foundation for western civilization:  Homer, Euclid, Archimedes, Thales, Pythagorus, Diogenes, Cicero, Plutarch, Paul of Tarsus, and Augustine of Hippo.

2012.  For you, it may be a beginning…. the first steps along a journey into Christian classical education…

Open Houses

Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Thursday, March 15, 2012, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Thursday, April 5, 2012, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

You are invited to join us at one of our Open Houses, where you will have the opportunity to

  • see our classes in operation
  • meet tutors and members of the Board of Directors
  • handle the texts and learn more about our academic plans for the 2012-2013 school year
  • tour our facility

Both daytime Open House meetings will be identical in content and nature and last approximately 2 hours. (The March event will not include classroom observation.)  Please RSVP to gideonstudycenter@gmail.com to register if you would like to attend one of the Open Houses or if you have any questions.
